My first project in 1999 was for a friend who brokers manufactured homes that are already setup in parks. Now he has a website that lists all his homes by neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. My own website (www.mikehelps.net) is an example of what you can do for yourself without professional help. It is hosted for free on an Office Live server provided by Microsoft. You can get your own at http://www.officelive.com They provide free domain name registration, email addresses to your domain, and space for a few pages. Using an online editor and templates, you can have your own site in no time.

I liked the results so much, I made my other domain (www.mikehelps.biz) duplicate it. The only drawback - they won't host executable files for you.
